INDIAN EQUITY MARKET OUTLOOK


INDIAN BENCHMARKS started on a marginally positive note ahead of December F&O expiry today. The petroleum ministry is planning a new subsidy-sharing mechanism that might come as relief to upstream oil companies like ONGC, Oil India and GAIL India.

Trend in FII flows: The FIIs were net buyers of Rs. 40cr in the cash segment on Tuesday while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers of Rs. 43cr, as per the provisional figures released by the NSE.
