Sun Pharma, Axis Bank, NTPC, Tata Steel and SBI are top gainers while ITC, M&M, Infosys, TCS and Maruti Suzuki.
The Indian rupee opened marginally higher at 66.30 per dollar versus 66.35 Monday.
