Nifty50 settled above the crucial 12,100-mark at 12,129.10 level, up 73.30 points or 0.61 per cent. Except Nifty Pharma, all the key sectoral indices ended the day in the green. Nifty FMCG index was up 1.20 per cent at close, followed by gains in Nifty Metal index (up 0.79 per cent), and Nifty Auto index (up 0.77 per cent).

Asian Market- Asian Market Coronavirus fears sink Hong Kong stocks as they reopen after the Lunar New Year. Hong Kong stocks had their worst day in almost six months Wednesday as investors returned from a four-day holiday to weigh the consequences of an escalating coronavirus outbreak. Japan's Nikkei 225 (N225) and South Korea's Kospi (KOSPI) both rebounded a little from losses earlier this week. The indexes ended up 0.7% and 0.4%, respectively.
U.S. Market – Stocks Climb With Focus Shifting to Earnings, Fed. Dow rebounds, Apple leads the way, and coronavirus fears remain. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the day up 187 points, or 0.7%. It was a solid showing, but the average closed far off its highs as the coronavirus fears linger.
European markets- European stocks edge higher, brushing off coronavirus concerns. European markets traded cautiously higher on Wednesday as investors in the region look to brush off concerns about the spread of the China coronavirus.
